Founder & Director

Leher Sethi

A well-known face in the Delhi Social Circle, Leher Sethi is known for the various academic events she promotes and organizes. While running Something Creative, she has collaborated and worked with various MNCs and Government Ministries to do events of cultural and social importance.

Leher was featured in Femina Magazine, being called “An Inspiration”. As a social activist, she is associated with various NGOs and is a secretary to the ICHR (Indian Council for Human Relations) and ICUNR (Indian Council for UN Relations). She was identified as one of the 20 women as a ‘Leader of Tomorrow’ by the New York Times as it brought the Women in the World Summit to India for the first time in 2015. She was appointed the Director of the Saansad Adarsh Gram Yojna (SAGY) for the Villages Budhan Pur Majra & Salah Pur Majra, collectively known as Majra Dabbas in Bawana Vidhan Sabha under the Member of Parliament – North West Delhi (Dr. Udit Raj) and worked on developing the village infrastructure and culture, while co-ordinating with the various government agencies. She has served as a member of the Women’s Committee of Delhi Management Association (DMA), AIMA and the Women Entrepreneurship Committee of the PHD Chamber of Commerce & Industry. She also contributed as a member of the working committee of NHEV (National Highway for Electric Vehicles), the First prototypical E-mobility conversion program for National Highways and Expressways and handled marketing and communication for the test launch.

As a columnist, Leher Sethi has contributed to publications like India Today, The Asian Age, and DailyO, writing on topics ranging from child abuse to secularism and women’s rights. She was a secretary for COWE (Confederation of Women Entrepreneurs), Delhi Chapter for 2020-22, and served as the President from 2023 till 2025. She is Member of the local committee for Prevention of Sexual Harassment Committee at Workplace under the Dept. of Women and Child Development, Office of the District Officer (South), Govt. of NCT of Delhi. She has launched the PAP (People Against Patriarchy) Summit in 2025 to highlight and fight the impact of patriarchy on society. Her TEDx talk was about breaking gender biases and stereotypes while bringing up children. She is a Member of the Advisory Board, Sashakt which works on Ovarian Cancer and contributes to initiatives focused on women’s health and empowerment. She is a Founding Trustee in two NGOs involved in empowering women and children – Beti & Shiksha Foundation and Feminist Alliance.
